I make games because it is the only way I know how to slow down and make sense of things.
I have spent most of my life moving from place to place, job to job, idea to idea. I have been a magician, a cook, a traveler, a writer, and now a game developer. I was never really chasing success or stability. I was chasing a feeling that something I made actually mattered.
Herbalist and everything I build comes from that same place. It is about wandering, learning the world through small details, and surviving by paying attention. I care about quiet moments just as much as action. I want my games to feel alive, not perfect. I want them to feel like places you can sit in, not just systems you can beat.
I work alone, not because it is easy, but because it is honest. Every strange idea, every rough edge, every bug is part of the process. These projects are a reflection of where I am right now. Still learning, still trying, still building something from nothing.
If you are here, you probably understand that feeling too. You like strange worlds, slow moments, and games that feel personal even when they are rough.
